Great “personal item” bag
I got this backpack to replace a laptop-centric backpack I’ve been using on flights as my “personal item”. That bag is slanted too much; it’s fatter at the bottom and skinny at the top and doesn’t hold nearly as much as I’d like.This bag, which is fully rectangular, holds more, despite being smaller, because its proportions are better. However, be aware, 30L is NOT a large bag. It’s a bag that will go under the seat in front of you. I wouldn’t use this to replace a carry-on, it’s definitely more in the personal item category.The shoe pocket is a nice thought, but when filled with shoes it takes up half or more of the main compartment of the bag, so I’m not sure if this is the right back for shoes, in general.The padding is adequate, although doesn’t feel quite as durable as some of my other more “tactical” backpacks. That’s ok, because it won’t be getting heavy use. I do travel with a battery backup and it’s nice to be able to plug it into the USB port and have an external port on the bag. Then again, most planes these days have USB ports directly at the seats, so the use cases for this are a bit limited. It would be more handy for hiking or something, and I could see using this bag for that, as well.All in all, decent bag and construction for the price, although not a high-end product.

Great design, poor build.
I really like the design of the Gieury bag. I wanted it for travel, to use for boarding cruise ships or airplanes when you may not have immediate access to your suitcases. The exterior material seems rugged. Unfortunately, when I went into one of the pockets, the interior shell material ripped apart at the seams exposing the pocket to the interior construction of the bag. I had to return it. This may have been an isolated incident and not indicative of their other products.

Lack of Zippers
Overall it’s an excellent bag for the money. They could have hit a homerun but they cheaped out by only putting one zipper instead of two in three places. The zipper on the very back compartment zips down so anyone could walk up behind you and with a flick of the wrist, have access to your bag. The laptop compartment only has one zipper tab. The ” safety” or hidden compartment also only has one zipper tab. Not Good! All three should have had a double zippers so they could be locked Besides that I’m happy with the packs

Perfect Travel Bag!
I ordered this bag for an upcoming flight, seeking an alternative to my wheeled bags that often get gate-checked. I needed something that could conveniently pack all my essentials and fit under the seat in front of me, eliminating the worry of lost luggage. This bag met my needs perfectly.It comfortably fits a decent-sized laptop and offers expandability, which was fantastic for packing my souvenirs along with my five days worth of clothes on the return trip. The bag also features a strap on the back, allowing you to easily attach it to rolling luggage, and a dedicated handle on the side if you prefer to carry it like a suitcase.Overall, I love this bag. It has plenty of storage pockets, including a dedicated shoe pocket, conpartment expandability, a USB charging port (battery not included), and the perfect carry-on size. It’s a fantastic travel companion.
