Just what I was looking for!!
Yay! Finally found the backpack is was looking for because: 1) It opens like a suitcase and has cinch-down straps on the outside. I got so tired trying to access items stacked on top of each other in a traditional backpack. 2) It is smaller than my carryon, slips on to the handle on my carryon and has multiple, exterior compartments. 3) It does not have padding for a computer which I like as I don’t travel with a computer and found that padding in other backpacks just took up precious room. 4) It’s comfortable to wear. 5) It doesn’t expand. I don’t start my travels with it full (that’s why the exterior cinch-down straps are so great). You can extend the straps as you acquire treasures on your trip. 6) It easily accommodated 2 pair size 9 athletic shoes, my liquids, cosmetics, phone & other chargers, medications & 2 paperback books.I have not yet flown with it but if have to check my carryon I have this bag to take to my seat with me. Fabric is sturdy and zippers are good quality. I like it is made with recycled materials. It’s a great find for function and price.

Bought this ahead of an upcoming European trip, since the carry-on limitations on some of our flights will be smaller than for US carriers. This bag has an awesome layout, as you can pre-pack like a suitcase, but then access as a backpack. It’s lightweight, has nice sturdy zippers, tons of compartments, AND interior tie-downs and zip sections. In addition, the set-in shoulder straps reduce the need for a cross-chest strap, as they keep the pack higher up on the back.LOVE that it’s made from recycled materials, as well. A huge plus.UPDATE to follow later this year, but so far seems like a GREAT backpack!UPDATE PART DEUX: Schlepped this throughout Greece, 9 different flights, 4 different airports, many delays, and hot Hot hot!!! This backpack was super. All the sections I needed, none that went unused. And I packed it to bursting! Was comfortable on a small personage, fit under all the seats, never looked dirty, and held clothing, toiletries, snacks, tech, shoes, water bottle, and purchases! Highly recommend.

Perfect travel backpack
Stumbled upon this backpack and it was perfect for my trip to Italy. I travelled to Italy for 10 days with a carryon suitcase and this backpack. I filled the backpack to the brim. Plenty of pockets to stay organized. Full zipper to use like a suitcase. Water bottle holder. Secret pocket next to your back for wallet and passport. Strap to fit over suitcase handle. And fit under the airplane seat with room for my legs and feet. Definitely recommend this backpack for traveling. Excellent value and comfortable shoulder straps.

EcoHub travel backpack is Great!
I would give it a 5 star review if it had sturdier zippers and a chest strap when in backpack format. The bag works great! Perfect size. I’ve flown in Alaska, Spirit, Volaris and Viva Aerobus in the past year and haven’t paid a fee! It has enough compartment to make sure you have access to exactly what you need and when you need it! Security/Secret pocket works perfect, you can barely tell that it’s a compartment. All in all, great bag! It’s a great bag for a 3 day to one week travel, depending on how and what you pack. If you are a minimalist, this is all the bag you’ll ever need!

Excellent choice for a “fits under the seat” carry on item
I traveled for the first time with this backpack. I purchased this size because it fits under the seat of every airline. I had plenty of pockets for holding money, passport and personal items. My tablet fit easily. I love how it opens so that I can see everything at a glance. The straps were sturdy and comfortable. I would buy this again, except I think I would go with a pink or green, just to make it stand out from everyone elses luggage.

Lots of space!
This backpack is great for plane travel. It fits under the seat. I was amazed at how much space it provided. The shape is rectangular & there are multiple pockets & zippered compartments. I used packing cubes to maximize storage. I brought this backpack & a carry on for a 10 day trip. I was so happy I didnât have to check a bag or lug around a big suitcase.

Does not fit in Frontier Airlines personal bag holder
I absolutely loved this bag and would give it a ten star rating. I got the teal color. I packed and remeasured. When i got to the airport it did not fit even though itâs the correct measurements. Not the bags fault, i just want people who fly Frontier to know. Everything else about this bag is perfect. It fits a lot for a weekend trip, love the way it opens, ,has great pockets, sturdy. Iâm short and it was comfortable to carry with padded straps. I Ordered a smaller one, hopefully it will fit. Iâm confused why the measurements meet Frontiers guidelines and yet it was two inches too long when sideways in holder.

Clever!
This is such a cleverly designed backpack! I bought the 17â version specifically to put under airline seats, and to double as a small backpack for day outings. It appears to be a sturdily constructed design and has all sorts of features, but also allows maximal access to the interior of the pack. I especially like the top pocket, perfect for getting easy access to tickets, documents, etc. Why pay more? This is the best money Iâve spent in a long time. I hope this company expands into other luggage like carry-ons.

This bag is fantastic! Took it to Norway for 18 days and it held everything I needed to bring. Fits under the airplane seat or overhead bins, even on a smaller aircraft. I used compression packing cubes with it in the main compartment. It has straps to hold the cubes so they don’t shift. Well made, light to carry, zippers, material, and seams are strong, it’s comfortable on my shoulders, lots of spaces to keep things organized. Super easy to get to your liquids bag to pull out for airport security. Also fits my 13″ laptop. I’m never using a roller suitcase again after living out of this bag. I loved this bag, it was perfect.

Ok I do write reviews only when I think a product/clothing are good value for money & clothing fits well.BUT ON THIS OCCASION- I Simply had to review this AMAZING Backpack, I am disabled & needed something I could fit things into + a nylon type handbag & avoid the charges for a cabin bag. I was visiting a friend in Spain & have just returned.This backpack got every piece of clothing, 2 pairs of sandals for 10 days & most importantly for me 2 weeks supply of medication in a two week Dosette box, as I take a number of medication, along with my Tablet, Kindle & phone.I love it zips all round like a case so you can easily pack everything inside this compartment, on the outer cover that also zips right round is a nylon pocket to slip in your tablet & a mesh pocket for your phone or and charging wires & plug or anything else you may need & down the side of the same outer cover is a side zip which zips half way down & fitted my kindle beautifully. Along the back is a zip in the mesh cover lined inside with the same back material as the outside & I put my purse & tissues, but would accomadate travel documents & is on your back so secure. Final pocket to the top held my sunglasses & electric toothbrush.It being made of recycled plastic bottles made it perfect, I did purchase on an offer price, but even paying full price an amazing backpack & it’s just 100% useful with 2 back straps, one strap to the top & 1 side, so any option for you to carry 10â from me & fully recommend

I got 2 of these backpacks for 6 weeks of traveling around Europe. We packed very lightly, but we could fit clothes in there for 2 adults and 3 young (5, 2 and 0) children. We did carry on only and stretched these backpack zips to the limits. I read reviews about the seams having issues as well, we didnât experience anything like that. Would absolutely buy again and happy to recommend.
