I bought this bag for a trip to Italy. I was able to fit 5-6 outfits, 2 pairs of shoes, and bring back items I bought. I appreciated the zipper option to expand the size. I used this on my way back but as a compression feature (packing my items, then zippering it to a smaller size to be more compact and fit more easily as a carryon on the airline.) I did not bring a laptop, but used this space for a few tablecloths I brought home.As a backpack feature, this works very well, with comfortable straps and chest strap. One option I wished it had was a strap for around the waste, as all the weight was in my shoulders.

I have been using a deployment bag as my airline carry-on for several years, and lately I’ve been getting looks and comments from check-in agents about the size. It has always fit in the overhead bins, but definitely would not go into that test cage. I’ve been shopping for a while for a smaller backpack that could hold all my carry-on essentials and provide quick access to my travel laptop and bag of liquids & gels that have to be pulled out for airport screening. After looking at many bags, I selected this one, fully intending to return it if my things would not fit. I am pleased to say that it holds everything I would need to survive a few days and my 12 inch laptop and bag of liquids & gels fit in the top slot, available for quick access. The quality of the fabric and zippers seems very good. I’m looking forward to giving it a test on my next trip.

I just completed an around the World trip where this was the only bag I took. I was able to fit 3 pairs of pants, 6 shirts, 10 pairs of underwear, my toiletries, sunglasses and a Samsung galaxy 8″ tablet.First of all, the bag held up very well with all that travel. Very sturdy and never felt like the zips would break even though they were under some extreme pressure at times.I never once had any difficulties having it accepted as carry on and I flew with Qantas, Finnair, Air Nostrum (small subsidiary of Iberia), British Airways, American Airlines, Westjet, and Japan Airlines.For me it has the right amount of compartments and pockets. If it had more, it would be difficult to locate items in the bag when on flights.I also had to walk long distances with this bag on my back so the strap on the front was vital to help balance the weight. I’ve suffered from a bad back in the past from backpacks but this bag never strained my back as you can adjust it while you have it on

Hide away straps & it can be used as a duffle. A laptop needs to go in a case. Not much protection for technology, but perfect for my travel needs. A great price too. It will not last if treated roughly, but a third the price of the major brand names.

I bought this bag as I generally catch public transport when travelling and I prefer to be hands free as opposed to wheeling around a suitcase. I absolutely love it, I have packed it to the maximum a few times already using the extendable zipper. I have packed 3 pairs of jeans, sneakers, body products, tops, dresses, a shoebox sized gift and laptop and it fit! The only thing to be weary of is the kg limit as I have packed up to 11kgs in it when the airline limit was 7kgs! I found the straps on my shoulders are comfortable and strong, I pack in a way to ensure the weight is distributed. It also had a water bottle holder which works if your bag isn’t packed to the maximum like I do. I love that is had buckle clips in 4 areas so if the zipper ever broke, it would holder the bag together to avoid everything falling out. For the price and weight of an empty bag, I highly recommend it as I can get through the airport really quick as opposed to a wheeled suitcase. I’m 5’2, around 50kgs so yes, it does look very bulky on me but I love it!
